The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and the new opportunity pipeline in the UK for a profitable sensors business.
The ideal Business Development Manager will have:
- Ability to close deals
- Background in engineering – ideally
- Excellent relationship, communication skills and strong team player
- Clear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities
- Travel flexibility to key customers in the UK and trade shows
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Drive sales growth and the new opportunity pipeline in UK
- Coordinate sensor promotion activities with regional engineering teams and Product Managers
- Identify new technology or applications and market trends
- Active engagement with customers that includes no less than effective commercial negotiation skills, strategic product development and issue resolution
- Staying updated on relevant regulations, technology trends, OEM and market trends
- Create customer applications and competitor market analysis
- Attend Trade Shows and Customer Tech Days
This role will suit a Sales / Business Development professional who is energetic and passionate to learn. You will have ideally come from an engineering background. Full training on the sensors product range will be given.
