Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an agricultural services company to recruit them an new Business Development Manager into the team.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to win over new business from large commercial contracts as well as individual farmers. This is predominantly an office-based role, with some UK-wide travel expected for prospecting and client meetings.

Main Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, and projects
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
- Attending conferences, shows and events to build relationships with industry partners
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
Requirements of a Business Development Manager:
- Significant experience in acquiring new clients and securing new contracts
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
- Highly organised and capable of working independently
- Proficiency in information technology, with expertise in Microsoft 365 applications
