Are you a seasoned Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the agency realm, ready to take the Scottish market by storm? We're seeking a dynamic individual with agency experience in marketing, creative, or digital fields to join our prestigious Full-Service Marketing Agency and lead the establishment of a new office in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

About the Role: As our chosen Business Development Manager, you'll have a rare opportunity to shape our agency's future by spearheading our expansion into a new market. Your role will blend strategic leadership with hands-on project management, as you bring in new business, manage projects, and foster enduring client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pioneering the establishment and growth of our second office in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
  • Driving business development initiatives to secure new clients and broaden our portfolio.
  • Ensuring the delivery of top-notch marketing services, resulting in client satisfaction.
  • Building and leading a team of talented individuals, nurturing a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Acting as the face of our agency, representing us at networking events, industry gatherings, and client engagements.
What We Offer:

  • Currently residing in Scotland, ideally within a reasonable commute of Edinburgh or Glasgow, or relocating to Scotland for reasons other than this job.
  • Extensive agency experience and a familiarity with the agency environment.
  • Strong leadership acumen, capable of inspiring and rallying others toward shared objectives.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, driven by a passion for business growth and tangible results.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and proactive across all facets of the role, from business development to client management.
