Our client is a leading global company based in Northamptonshire that specialises in technical and protection solutions for goods and services. They are looking to acquire the services of a tenacious Business Development Manager to join their successful and thriving business. This role reports directly to the Sales Director and you will be responsible for forging meaningful connections with clients and partners, nurturing long-term relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and fast-paced business that offers an exceptional commission package.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • 30% Account management, 70% new business acquisition.
  • Spearheading the identification of new business prospects and crafting strategic initiatives to leverage them.
  • Cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business expansion and promote synergistic collaborations.
  • Leading the formulation and implementation of sales strategies to meet revenue targets and surpass performance benchmarks.
  • Conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive challenges, and growth prospects.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver unparalleled value to customers.
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in business development, encompassing 360-sales or similar roles.
  • Proven 'hunter' sales mentality with a relentless drive for results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating the establishment of rapport and the ability to influence effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a flair for creative problem-solving and a fervent commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Proficiency in thriving within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the UK.
  • While prior industry or product experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for consideration.
 
Additional Information
  • Working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Remote working, regular travel and office days expected.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Exceptional Commission scheme.
