The Business Development & Marketing Department leads on all aspects of business development and communications for Fieldfisher. We focus on revenue generation and reputation enhancement. We consider ourselves to be commercially minded, proactive & creative with a sense of humour. We are a growing team and we are looking for colleagues to work with us to shape the work we do and to help us achieve even greater success.

The firm is recruiting a Business Development Manager who will be based in London and be responsible for winning new clients and growing relationships with existing clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting BD team in a role that will stretch and develop your skills. We are looking for ambitious and talented individuals who want to achieve and have impact.

The role will report directly to the Head of Business Development.


This role will focus on:

  • Growing revenues within a designated portfolio of clients & targets
  • Developing International clients
  • Selling in key campaigns to strategic targets of the sector and practice
  • Winning new clients

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in business development, face to face sales and client relationship management (ideally within a Professional Services environment)
  • Demonstrable track record of success in client development & new business attainment
  • A self-starter who has the ability to take ownership and deliver
  • Ability to develop networks and trusted adviser relationships with Partners and staff at all levels, influencing effectively and constructively challenging to deliver the best results
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding and high performance environment
