Job Title: Business Development Manager/ Relationship Manager
Salary/Package: £40k - £50k basic (negotiable dependent on experience) + Commission/ Bonus
Location: Nottingham/ East Midlands Area

As a people focused business with a strong set of core values they are looking to build on their success. They are now seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Manager/ Relationship Manager who can further develop their sales and help take the company to the next level.

The Role - Business Development Manager/ Relationship Manager
Reporting directly to the MD, the overall aim of this role is to generate new business and grow client accounts. This is a 360 sales role which includes generating sales leads to closing and managing business.
1.To generate new business leads using
a.A range of methods (online / social media, marketing activities, telephone etc.)
b.Working with strategic partners to build up referrals
c.Responding to inbound enquiries
d.Generating and following up leads from customer events (including attending those events)
2.To produce plans / forecasts for own new business sales
3.Develop and manage own clients / relationships. Account/client planning for both short and long term
4.Achieve and over achieve on personal KPIs and sales targets
5.To manage own pipeline to ensure targets are met
6.To build internal relationships as required to maximise sales capability

Candidate Skills and Experience - Business Development Manager/ Relationship Manager
·Proven track record in sales in a professional services environment
·A background of selling to professionals
·It would be useful to understand selling through a partner network as well as with referrals
·Can demonstrate track record of achieving sales targets
·Can demonstrate successful account' development through building long term relationships
·A consultative sales person who is able to offer solutions
·Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base
·Ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team
·Excellent communication skills - oral and written
·Professional in attitude, conduct and appearance
