We offer services such as container deliveries, warehousing, and road haulage for both UK and European region. Marbob Cargo is seeking a hard-working, motivated professional to join our team. The role is responsible for expanding and implementing business development strategies to achieve a healthy business growth and profit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work with Director and Transport Manager to identify and implement business development plans and strategies aligned with company objectives in the UK and China market;

- Establish growth strategies by developing and strengthening the current warehousing and road transport, developing new haulage routes, identifying new markets and income streams;

- Conduct transshipment market research, analyse transshipment market trend and clients’ feedback to locate and propose potential business opportunities by contacting potential clients in both UK and China;

- Liaise with senior management team within the company to determine the haulage service package that the company can offer to clients;

- Grow and report freight sales figures quarterly to senior management team and colleagues, provide suggestions towards the sales and marketing strategy;

- Develop strong relationships with new and existing business partners and corporate clients;

- Be responsible for supervising and training junior staffs;

- Assist Director in implementing actions that improve operational and financial performance of the company and deliver high-quality services;

The Candidate:

- Bachelor degree or above;

- Strong communication skills with the ability of build relationship with people at all levels of the company and with clients and partners;

- Proven track record in the relevant field;

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work;

- Good command of Mandarin is preferable (particularly able to write and speak fluent Mandarin as you are required to deal with our large number of Chinese clients and Chinese business partners).
