Business Development Manager

They are a true "one-stop" solution provider, offering business owners the complete range of IT services. They have a flexible and supportive approach and only recommend solutions that are both practical and affordable.

Although they are part of a well established business this division is still very much growing, allowing the candidate to progress their career and become a future manager in the business.

The Candidate:

  • Proven business to business IT sales experience essential or other B2B sales experience if they have very good IT knowledge or IT degree
  • Commercially astute
  • Lead Generation experience
  • Face to Face Meeting experience
  • Able to work the entire sales cycle from lead generation, through to presenting and closing the deal
  • History of working within a target driven environment with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets
  • Experience working in a busy sales environment within the IT industry preferable
  • Good general knowledge of hardware, software and services preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of networking and security would be advantageous
  • Successful track record at a MSP or a relevant Reseller with Managed Service would be advantageous
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent would be a minimum
  • Ethical and customer focussed
  • Strong exposure to creating and developing new client relationships
  • Must be able to work independently and deal with client requirements
  • Inquisitive, Highly motivated and credible

The Role:

You will be tasked with the creation and development of business

  • Development of new business opportunities within a targeted company base
  • Management of existing new business prospects as developed by the lead generation team
  • Developing new accounts and selling all IT services into them
  • Forecasting accurately your sales pipeline monthly & quarterly
  • Focus in and around the London region, generating a set number of new opportunities per month
  • Achieving and exceeding set targets
  • Liaising with clients and sales team on queries
  • Working effectively with the wider team and engage as necessary
  • Regular feedback on changing client requirements to ensure my client remains relevant
