The ideal Business Development Manager will have extensive sales experience in a B2B environment as well as the determination to succeed and smash sales targets. We are looking for sales professionals who are highly motivated, have a persistent attitude towards new business development and who are not afraid to pick up the phone.  You also need to be a charismatic champion to build and maintain strong client relationships.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will generate sales through new business across multiple sectors as well as retaining and growing revenue from existing clients, in line with agreed targets. You will be responsible for sourcing new sales leads and from this following a consultative sales process.  You will then sell our targeted media solutions to new clients and write up detailed sales proposals following these initial phone calls.

As part of your role, you will build effective relationships with your own clients in order to encourage continued and new business, as well as managing expectations of clients to ensure that we deliver commitments in line with agreed SLAs. You will also be expected to handle all client queries swiftly in order to ensure that company reputation is maintained and client business is retained.

Additionally, you will be expected to liaise across other business departments such as the finance and production teams, to ensure that campaigns are delivered and payments are kept up to date in line with agreed timescales.
