Business Development Manager

SALARY: £23,000 PA OTE £32,000 (UNCAPPED COMMISSION WITH PROGRESSION & ADDITIONAL YEARLY BONUS)

DEPARTMENT/TEAM: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM

We are seeking out target driven individuals with a clear passion for managing a sales pipeline, to join our Business Development Team based at our Head Office in Bridgend. You will be responsible for helping the department achieve its monthly sales targets through a range of sales focused activity, including outbound B2B telesales.

You will be consultative in your nature, and be confident in discussing the features and benefits of our Managed IT Service. Whilst we do not expect a technical background, as one of the key purposes of the role is to generate high quality business consultations, you will need to be tenacious and focused on building valuable ongoing relationships with our prospects.

To join our Business Development Team, you must have proven credibility in a sales and target driven environment, and have the ability to apply your sales experience to the role. Full training of all the RockIT products and services will be provided. Whilst we are interested in your existing knowledge, RockIT also value continued learning and we can support this in a number of ways. We will teach you about our industry leading products and solutions, and will give you the opportunity to take on fully funded Microsoft qualifications to improve upon your knowledge and expertise.

You will be responsible for

  • Achievement of weekly/monthly sales and revenue targets through management of outbound B2B telesales

  • Identifying sales opportunities

  • Assessing, clarifying and validating the prospect's technical requirements

  • Utilising RockIT’s internal systems to prioritise work and maximise sales success to achieve strategic objectives, call KPIs

  • Diary management and management of other administrative functions

  • Attending regular project training sessions

  • Building a rapport with potential clients to ensure every opportunity comes to fruition
