Business Development Manager - IT/Tech (Reading, Berks x 2 days per week)
£35000 to £45,000 Basic + £10,000 Bonus + £7,000 Car Allowance + Package
This is an outstanding opportunity for a BDM or National Account Executive/Manager to take on a new, strategically important role working for a £2 Billion IT/Tech Distribution business. The role is somewhat of a hybrid Business Development and Account Management opportunity, as you will be given several customers to manage, all currently trading but at varying levels of activity and then developing other major retailers. Our client enjoys an excellent reputation with its customers, operating primarily in the IT, tech and mobile space, working with major brands such as Apple, Samsung, HTC, Lenovo, Microsoft and others.
You will report directly to the Sales Director - Retail, and have an open remit to grow these existing accounts, and leverage those relationships to win new business and open dialogue to drive existing sales further.
With either a B2B/IT/Tech or an FMCG sales background, you will have existing exposure to National Account Management of Top 4 Grocery, High Street or other major retail accounts. You will be capable of sustaining a fast working pace, managing different projects and handling a variety of contacts both internally and externally, with a solid focus on delivering the best possible customer proposition. We look for clear, concise and self-motivated individuals, with a strong understanding of supply chain and its implications on customer satisfaction and achievement of targets and account growth.
