Business Development Manager - Leading Online Trend Forecasting Provider

Our client is the world’s leading online trend forecasting provider for the Retail, FMCG and Fashion sectors with offices throughout the world.

About the role of Business Development Manager

Based in super cool and trendy offices in the heart of the west end; our client is looking to expand their sales team by recruiting for an additional Business Development Manager to target new prospects within the UK & Nordics.

Part of the role will be converting incoming leads (30%) into sales whilst developing your own prospects (70%) to go after and you will be selling subscriptions for their online research platform which provides information on market trends and consumer behaviour into Marketing Directors or 'C’ level decision makers of major companies including Technology, Media, FMCG, Entertainment & Fashion.

Part of the role will involve attending meetings with new prospects / clients for sales presentations and therefore this role would suit a sales individual who enjoys getting out and closing business face to face!

About You

  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
  • Experience of selling over the phone and face to face
  • Experience of selling information, market research or access to an online platform (SAAS etc.) would be highly beneficial
  • An interest in current affairs, fashion or consumer trends is a must!!
  • Degree educated
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
