Business Development Manager Embedded Technology
Location - 1 x BDM REMOTE MIDLANDS/NORTH

Salary £40,000 - £55,000 DOE + car allowance £550 per month + OTE £60,000+
Some overseas travel will be required.
My client is a specialist solutions provider focusing on Display and Embedded system solutions into a range of markets including the medical, military and industrial arena.
As a successful BDM you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the embedded computing market both in the UK and with some overseas accounts.
We are seeking 2 dynamic, technically minded, result oriented Business Development Managers with a passion for technology. The ability to engage in technical discussions with customers is crucial, prior embedded sector experience is a plus however candidates with strong commercial skills and a hunger to learn and excel in this field will be considered.
You will have a passion for technology, understanding of customer demands, and a drive to win are essential along with the ability to talk competently to engineers to understand and address technical issues within a project.
Technical Expertise: Stay at the forefront of embedded chip, module, and board technologies. Keeping up to date with the latest advancements to identify and promote products that align with customer needs.
Account Development: Cultivate and nurture client relationships, exploring new markets within the portfolio, supporting both internal and external sales teams with strategic opportunities and managing these projects through to the point of order.
Revenue Growth: Aiming to achieve year-on-year growth in turnover, achieving this through repeat business, expanding market exposure, and entering new strategic markets.
Overcoming Challenges: Address the challenge of encouraging slow adopters to embrace technology innovation. Position company as the go-to partner for clients looking to enhance their product offerings through technology. Identify and collaborate with early adopters in established and startup companies to drive growth.
Customer-Centric Approach: Understand customer barriers, limitations, and needs while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge. Proactive, persistent, and ambitious in uncovering new opportunities. Approach challenges with resourcefulness and a curious, open mindset.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Division Manager, Sales Manager, and our dedicated sales team to seize opportunities. Utilizing our engineering team within projects where needed for design assistance and customer support when needed.
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
