Basic Salary: £30k - £35k + Generous Commission Structure
Our client, a nationwide Serviced Apartments booking agency with aspirations to become a major European player within 2 years, is seeking a bright and spirited B2B Business Development Manager.
As the Business Development Manager you will report directly in to the Sales Director. The role is 100% new business and you will be targeting a range of Serviced Apartments operators that can ultimately improve their occupancy rates with our help.
In this role you will be required to drive forward new business sales. The Business Development Manager will have free reign on the size of accounts, meaning your clients could be an independent operator or well known chains! Once you begin to build your portfolio you will have the opportunity to account manage, maintain and grow these clients.
Although this is an autonomous role, you will gain support and training from the Sales Director. This role will be initially office based.
Key skills and experience required:
- A minimum of 1 years sales and business development experience (B2B) and experience of dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial with good commercial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Driven, resilient and highly enthusiastic with a get up and go attitude.
- Genuine interest in current affairs/business.
- Industry Experience is not required
- Confidence and ability to secure new business
- A tenacious, driven and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work independently but also integrate as part of a team
