£20000/annum OTE £40k plus
Due to expansion in our clients current market and the imminent launch into a new market they are seeking a Business Development Executive to join their successful and expanding exhibition and sponsorship sales team.
In this role you will need to have a strong personality with the ability to build rapport, overcome objections and provide a first class service. The ideal candidate will be:
* Motivated by money
* Keen to pursue a career in sales
* Have an excellent telephone manner
* Able to build relationships
This is mainly a telephone based role but does also involve visiting their own and competitor events.
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for assisting the company in reaching our corporate objectives. You will drive revenue streams through building on existing relationships and generating new business. This is a results driven role and requires being able to work in a fast-paced competitive sales environment. You will have responsibility for reaching your own dedicated event sales and sponsorship revenue targets as well as assisting the team to achieve the overall goals.
Ideally you will have a successful track record in B2B sales preferably in media or event sales
You are a goal orientated and driven to succeed individual.
You have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to converse with high level decision-makers.
You are able to work towards targets and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a successful team, contributing to team targets.
You are creative and eager to learn
For the right candidate, this role offers a basic salary up £20,000 (OTE £40,000+) with uncapped commission and excellent career progression opportunities in a fantastic working environment.
