Our client is currently actively looking to hire 2 to 3 Business Change Consultants on a 6 month contractual basis, working on small and large based business change transformation projects.

Location: Worthing or Norwich or London (Hybrid working 2 days a week in your nearest office location)

Duration: 6 Months

Rates: Negotiable (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)

Working closely with the operations and underwriting teams, we work to deliver the required portfolio changes to drive expense savings, profitable growth, and a sustainable commercial platform to support a wide portfolio. This role works across Operations, Product, Pricing, Underwriting, IT and Change to drive the end-to-end delivery of defined outcomes and deliverables.

We are looking for someone that can act as a role model for the wider team, demonstrate the right behaviours and support the team in achieving our goals. Acting as a representative of the change team, you should be comfortable to lead and drive change. You will be passionate, inquisitive, numerate and proactive to help us define and deliver for the companies commercial business. This is a great opportunity to use your business knowledge to drive change to make a real difference in performance. This includes understanding the nuances in supporting the change delivery and business readiness works in both continuous improvement and tech deliveries.

There will be lots of stakeholder management, both internally and some external, as this is a key strategic priority for the Commercial Lines business. This is a dynamic environment where every day will be different, as we reflect the appetite to grow the GCS business and keep pace with the changing external environment.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Strong experience of delivering and leading end-to-end change projects with people/cultural, business process, systems, and technology teams
  • Experience & knowledge of change/project management methodologies & tools, including Agile and Waterfall approaches
  • A track record of understanding how people go through change and the change process with the ability to establish & maintain strong business relationships
  • Demonstrates the ability to deliver at pace and with agility
  • Robust and recent background of working in the Insurance industry.
  • Innovative thinker
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills & stakeholder management, including the ability to influence decision makers
  • An understanding of the IT infrastructure
  • Experience of developing & using delivery frameworks for portfolio/programmes/projects, including project planning, implementation and managing and mitigating risks and issues
  • Confidence in constructively challenging the status quo
  • Continuous improvement delivery

Qualifications (Not essential)

  • Project management qualification (APM Cert, Prince 2)
  • Change/product owner certification
