Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum *dependant on experience
This is a great opportunity to join an established organisation in Leicester. You will work as part of a programme and portfolio team to facilitate between, technical communities and suppliers to application and solution development. In addition, you will define and document internal and external user interfaces, business processes, systems and data requirements leading to the definition of functional solutions for the organisation. Responsibility will include; Identifying and understanding business issues and challenges of the organisation and industry. Liaising with business colleagues and technology partners to elicit and document business requirements. Analysing and translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. Working with Solution Architects to transform and develop requirements into functional business and application design. Leading workstreams in a project environment. Taking ownership of the requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Scoping and defining functional solutions. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Leading workstreams or small projects if necessary and supporting testing and implementations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable ability to analyse and synthesise business requirements. You will have experience in Business Analysis, System Engineering and Modelling Techniques. Functional and technical specification design. Demonstrate expertise in Information Systems and applying this to the development and execution of projects. Strong Stakeholder management. Ideally worked on large scale projects with a proven understanding of the project and software development lifecycles. Agile, and/or any Project Management qualifications would be desirable.
