Business Analyst Utilities/Water

• Under the direction of the Principal Business Analyst manages "ION" (Identification of Need) for approval to ICG based on robust Business cases.
• Develop, manage, govern (traceability) and deliver requirements specification catalogue(s) for projects to be included in Gate 2 funding submissions.
• Business Process Mapping.
• Liaison with Principal Business Analysts and Solution Architects to ensure alignment of requirements to Technology Principles.
• Provide a Business Analysis service for IT projects, from feasibility (to include leading Solution evaluation) through to benefits enablement.
• Ensuring business problems are articulated to the build and run functions within IS and that the narrative for change is understood
• Ensures analysis and outputs for the Programme identifies functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring an awesome user experience for identified solutions
• Respond to our business challenges by eliciting and interpreting requirements into cost effective solutions that align to our technology strategy
• Ensures the "user experience" Principles apply to IT solutions
• Supports Business to ensure technology is widely used and embedded across the business, supporting with education where there are gaps identified
• Contribute towards the wider development of the Profession through the use of COP and CI.
• Support provided across the lifecycle to include;
• Support to Application and Infrastructure Management
• Implementation support (testing, training and implementation)
• Appreciation of Business change to provide input and support to Group Transforamtion
• Support and advise on programme/Project Risk Management/Stakeholder Management
• Continuous testing of project viability – challenging where eroded
• A good understanding of Business and Technology Strategies to support AMP Business plans and roadmaps.

Must have knowledge and experience in Agile and also building dashboards from scratch
