A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, XP) to join one of Europe's top 100 companies based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. As the Business Analyst (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, XP) you will integral role of established team where you will be part of internal community that strives to deliver the very best solutions for their clients.
They do not believe that successful delivery management is strongly related to management by Gantt chart - rather they expect their people to get involved with the delivery teams and the delivery process and is adaptable enough to take on a number of roles to "get things delivered". You should expect to add real value from experience, insight, leadership by example and work effort.
You will be expected to talk with confidence about full life cycle projects and software/infrastructure architectures, design, delivery and project management approaches. Additionally experience across provisioning, release, change, operational management is seen as a must have - as is the ability to discuss ways of managing cross-functional technically diverse teams (DevOps) for the purpose of lean delivery.
Business Analyst role requirements
- Strong practical knowledge and a pragmatic approach to Agile and/or other iterative development methodologies (eg. SCRUM, RUP, XP).
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior knowledge of AWS, Azure or similar cloud products will be essential.
- Experience of project management and/or senior lead roles on large scale software and/or infrastructure environments.
- Good business awareness and a performance bias to achieving results.
- The ability to lead, guide and motivate others, as well as manage upwards too.
