The Business Analyst will work on prioritised projects, to be agreed with the Head of Value Enablement, to secure project outcomes, including, gathering requirements, assessing business impact, considering and agreeing with relevant business representatives’ key outcomes and solutions and implementing those outcomes.
They will work side-by-side with representatives from Group functions, members of the Value Enablement team, developers and members of the business to assist with capturing requirements and helping shape and implement solutions. The Business Analyst will be expected to be able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
The Business Analyst must have a strong problem-solving mind-set, avoiding work-arounds in favour of quality, long lasting solutions.
Key Accountabilities
• Acting as key point of contact on business projects where UK&I IT support for the project is required
• Analysing project requirements and business processes and systems to help recommend changes to maximise our ability to meet goals and objectives.
• Maintain a backlog of projects and requirements, and prioritise to deliver projects on time
• Build relationships with stakeholders.
• Create any documentation in order to enable the development of the required solution using the most appropriate tools
• Perform any other duties as assigned with accountability and responsibility defined prior to the commencement of these duties.
• Support testing throughout project lifecycle.
• A flexible approach is required and out of hours working is expected to support business as usual activities or project deadlines.
Working Hours

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week, this role is fully remote

  • Be competent user of IT with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and confident in embracing new technology.

  • Demonstrate teamwork - Contributes actively to an environment in which colleagues work cooperatively with each other.
  • Demonstrate Agile - Experience of Agile Scrum methodology.

  • Have good analytical skills, be methodical and accurate and show great attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to build relationships at all stakeholder levels including business and IT staff, vendors and third party service providers.
  • Be a good problem solver with proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Have exceptional prioritisation and problem solving skills.
