Nurseplus are looking for a new Business Administration Apprentice, you will be studying toward your Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship. This is a real opportunity to learn how a business functions, you will gain experience across a variety of teams including Business Development, Quality Assurance and Business Support to name a few!

Administrative assistants are responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and will be familiar with a variety of the Company's concepts, practices, and procedures.

You must have the ability to effectively communicate via telephone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner as well as rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office as well as support managers and colleagues through a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication.

The main duties of the Business Administration Apprenticeship role include:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Handle multiple projects
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Write letters and emails on behalf of other office staff
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
  • Resolve administrative problems
  • Provide polite and professional communication
  • Conduct data entry

Training to be Provided

  • Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.
  • It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
  • This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
  • This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3
