A fantastic new job has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a national multi-disciplinary Private Practice in Perth. This practice turns just over £2billion in revenue per annum globally, over £500m a year in the UK and provide excellent training and support throughout your career. The consultancy team you'll be part of work in very much a rural project setting, allowing you to work on some of the most iconic buildings in the area.
Your new role
You'll be responsible primarily focused on repairs, refurbishments and alternations of traditional buildings. You'll work as a Project Manager / Contract Administrator working with Architects, Technicians and other relevant disciplines throughout. You'll have opportunities to undertake pre-purchase surveys on high value properties, condition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a Building Surveyor who is ideally Chartered, although non-chartered status will be considered. You'll have experience with high-end rural clients and rural projects in mostly a residential setting. You'll also have a desire to grow the business beyond their core client base, specifically when it comes to pre-purchase surveys, dilapidations and schedules of condition. You'll come from a private practice background and preferably in a rural residential setting.
