Are you a qualified Building Surveyor? Interested in working for a client-side developer?

Our client, an affordable Build-to-Rent (BtR) developer is seeking a Capital Projects Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, you will be responsible for managing capital expenditure on mostly residential assets and some commercial within the Greater London area.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to step up and take responsibility on a large programme of work within an established but growing business - you will have autonomy to take ownership in a highly supportive environment, with an excellent team culture and great progression opportunities.

This is an office and field based role with a flexible working policy, offices are based in Central London.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsive Repairs
  • Planned and Major Works
  • Managing refurbishments of empty homes for reletting
  • Conduct surveys and inspections on residential properties
  • Raise work orders using a schedule of rates
  • Selecting and negotiating with contractors

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying
  • Previous experience within either a Housing Association, Local Authority, Consultant, or private sector Client-Side Developer
  • Knowledge of refurbishment and capital works, including (but not limited to) disrepair, damp and mould, minor/major adaptations
