Our client is seeking a BRN Co-Ordinator to join their team in Elland.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Undertake field visits to Contractors premises and visits at policyholder premises to undertake audits of on site works and completed jobs. To assess the extent of works being undertaken as per scope and quality of workmanship and timescales for works to completion.

  • To assist the BRN Manager Regional with the day to day management of the BRN & Contractors, ensure that service levels and standard procedures are followed.

  • Completion of Site Notes, Reports, Audit forms and Xactimate estimates

  • To take ownership of Contractor complaints and ensure assessed and resolved promptly and all parties kept updated and suitable actions and resolution agreed and follow up to conclusion and agree any compensation, reimbursements etc

  • Adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the department and the company and perform additional tasks as may be required

  • To take ownership of Contractor aged debt lists and ensure reviewed, agreed, and chase relevant parties to progress payments promptly.

  • Ensure correspondence both written and verbal is responded to within service standards

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure the accuracy of information recorded in the database

  • Achieve service standards, company and contractual requirements

  • Ensure proficient letters composed for written enquiries

  • Maintain filing system

  • General office duties as and when required

  • Advise policyholders on terms, limits of cover and policy liability

  • Development of policy wordings in conjunction with the Field Manager

  • To provide face to face advice and assistance to policyholders in a professional manner

  • Communicating professionally with a variety of people including policyholders, insurers, government agencies and other clients

  • Communicate effectively with Managers and Directors

  • Ensure visits are arranged and undertaken within agreed service standards

Qualification Requirements:

  • 7 GCSEs Grade C or above (including Maths and English); or

  • 3 A Level passes; or

  • A degree or equivalent; or

  • Insurance Claims experience

  • Progress towards attaining Insurance qualification would be a benefit
