Job Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours: Mon-Fri Working Hours

Responsibilities of an Bridging Underwriter:
- Act as the primary point of contact for brokers, providing expert guidance and support throughout the underwriting process.
- Evaluate loan applications, assess risks, and make informed decisions on whether to proceed with the sale based on established criteria and company policies.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, property valuations, and risk assessments, to ensure the viability and profitability of each transaction.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry regulations, and best practices in underwriting to continuously improve processes and mitigate risks.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to brokers, keeping them informed of the status of their applications and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Requirements of a Bridging Underwriter:
- Proven experience as a Bridging Underwriter in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of Bridging finance
- Sound knowledge of underwriting principles, risk management techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
