Brand Communications Manager

Based - Enterprise House, Ashford

This key role within the Food Marketing team will be supporting the brand and food marketing team with high quality, on-time project delivery ensuring all communication is focused on the customer benefit and is coherent across all channels.

Key Responsibilities – including but not exhaustive to

  • Working with key stakeholders in the business, build, maintain and communicate a considered customer communication plan, built around identified customer needs, market insight and trend data as well as personal knowledge and passion for the food industry

  • Build and deliver process for reactive communications to our customers

  • Support the Food Marketing Manager in reviewing platform content provided by sector teams and content owners for all Proposition Playbook and Sector Proposition projects ensuring content is customer benefit focussed, relates as appropriate to insights, trends, testimonials, and our food products / knowledge

  • Build and activate marketing plans for sector proposition launches

  • Working in conjunction with the marketing and creative comms team, support the process by coordinating briefs, content and channel distribution (online, print, social), in line with available budgets

  • Sit within the market insight forum (MIF) to understand, analyse and contribute to reports on market trends and insight. Ensure information is customer focused and solutions driven

  • Own & build the chef endorsement (Mark Sargeant) plan to drive SOW and increase customer facing exposure. Coordinate activity with creative comms team to ensure coherence with the marketing and customer comms plan

  • Own and build plan for effective use of PR budget to build customer engagement and PR content across seasonal events, and promotion of customer benefits of Mark Sargeant partnership

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal & written skills

  • Excellent Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel


  • Experience of sales and marketing environment

  • Experience in food/grocery industry

  • Experience in large, matrix driven organisation
