Bookkeeper

• Annual Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor / Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and lead our accounts team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Supervise and manage the accounts team to ensure efficient financial operations within the company.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal guidelines.
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
• Report to the management with timely and accurate financial information.
• Assist the management in financial decision-making.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Supervisor, Finance Manager, or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Experience using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Sharp time management skills.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
• Professional qualification such as AAT Qualified / Part qual ACCA or CIMA / Qualified Accountant
• BSc/MSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
