Role appointment: Board Member

Remuneration: £2,231 per annum (under review 2018)

Commitment: Approx 15 days commitment per annum, part time, permanent

Location: Greater Manchester

Our client is a highly respected organisation recently created from two long standing organisations with amazing legacies. The organisation is a not-for-profit social housing business in the North West who own and manage over 8,200 homes and support supported housing places across 17 Local Authorities in the North West, with a turnover of £50 million per year.

They are looking to appoint a new Board Member for their Board.

The Board Members role is to help ensure that the organisation fulfills the 'organisation's way’creating an environment to flourish, with their strongly held belief that everyone should have access to a decent home and life opportunities. A Board Member should help ensure and support the company meet its responsibilities to key stakeholders; particularly residents, staff and funders. They need a Board Member who can add strategic value to the organisation, as a Board Member and additionally through specific Committee membership, and can act in a collegiate way with other Board Members to ensure they delivers its vision.
