Hawk Estates Ltd are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Block Manager to join the team within our family run organisation. The successful applicant along with the assistance of the team will oversee a compact, block portfolio in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area.

Duties will include:

  • To carry out regular site inspections to review the condition of Managed Blocks - producing a report for clients
  • Attend site meetings to meet clients, contractors and monitor onsite works
  • Ensuring compliance and action Health and Safety issues appropriately
  • To answer enquires by telephone or email
  • Tendering for works and issuing works orders
  • Working to deadlines
  • Completing Section 20 Processes
  • Preparing, agreeing, and issuing service charge budgets
  • Attend and minute Directors / Board meetings
  • Attend and minute Annual General Meetings
  • To deal with administrative matter relating to the management of managed properties
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service and building good working relationships with clients, residents, and contractors
  • To attend weekly Property Management meetings and provide updates regarding your portfolio

Desired skills

  • Previous experience of delivering services to a high level within a customer faced environment
  • Full awareness of the latest developments in Property Management
  • An understanding of leases, Service Charges, Budgeting, and associated legislation
  • Excellent customer service and client focused

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
  • Total hours per week: 35.00

Annual wage

  • £11,830.00
