Job Title: Biology teacher

Location: South Coast

Pay rate: £22,372-£36,480 per annum

Hours: 37 Hours Full time, Permanent

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the South Coast of England.

The college are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and motivated lecturer who could be new to teaching. The large and successful Science department teaches students on a wide range of courses including A level, BTEC applied science, Access to Higher Education and GCSE..

The Role:
- Level 3 BTEC Biology and A-level
-Creating a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that will motivate students to learn, think independently, take risks, empathise with others, and perform to the best of their abilities.
- Ensuring subject delivery is suitably challenging, knowledge-rich and has a clear focus on the development of strong academic skills.
- Following agreed guidelines, syllabuses and schemes of work, ensuring an excellent knowledge of the requirements of public examinations and the A Level curriculum.

- You will be working with students aged 16+

- Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

- Contribute to the design, deliverya nd future planning and development of the curriculum including blended learning approaches, if needed.

What you will need:

· A recognised teaching qualification

· Degree or equivalent in the related subject.

· Experience delivering Science A Level, Applied Science BTEC or A Level Biology in an education setting

· Good classroom management
