My client is looking for an experienced Bid Manager who has a number of years' experience in the Bid Management role within a Regional or Main Contractor ideally in the Midlands. His preference is someone from a commercial background or someone with a strong commercial knowledge.
The ideal candidate will get involved before a tender even comes through the door, having an input in decision to bid and assessing future workload & pipeline and engaging with the client at the PQS before the tender comes in.
Strong Commercial Understanding
Able to identify risk & opportunity
Ability to work on Single Staged / 2nd Staged / Negotiated Bids
Project Experience between £1m - £35m
The business are looking for an ambitious Bid Manager who can be the first 'Bid Manager' in the region working under a Pre-Construction Director. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be the first through the door and stamp their own mark on a business on the rise. Which of course, means opportunity to progress north is more likely than joining a Division that has a number of Bid Managers.
