BI Analyst

Robert Half Technology have partnered exclusively with an established and highly innovative organisation in Bournemouth who are looking for a BI Analyst to join the team. This is a newly created role to support the CFO in their digital transformation journey to design and enhance their business intelligence solutions.

The Company

Our client has a diverse portfolio of commercials interests, mainly across the South Coast including renewable energy, property, hospitality and agriculture industries.

The team consist of an effective group of finance professionals who oversee Group finance functions, who are looking for a Data and BI Analyst to embed successful business intelligence solutions for the group.

The Role

You will be responsible for the data and information flow from our current applications, developing new business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into scalable and efficient data integration, analysis and reporting solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing Power BI or similar visualisation tool
• Requirement gathering, liaising with stakeholders to identify needs and areas of improvement
• Migrate data-sets from Excel to BI tooling
• Implementing data mining and predictive analytics
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis, reporting to support business solutions
• Create and configure data connections, data flows, control flows and transformations to ensure accurate and reliable data integration.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a BI Analyst/BI Developer
• Strong analytical mindset, proficient in designing and building dashboards
• Strong Excel skills with the intention to migrate to Power BI or similar visualisation tools
• Solid understanding of data governance, security and compliance principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders

On Offer

• Salary on offer up to £55,000
• 6% pension contribution
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office, 2 days working remotely)
