We'll help you succeed

As part of the Digital and Risk Advisory Services team, we are recruiting for the position of Cloud Solution Architect with at least five years' experience in the architecture, design, implementation and support of distributed applications and cloud solutions to join our dynamic advisory team in a client facing consultancy role.

We are a Microsoft Global Solutions Partner, Azure Expert MSP with many Specialisations and our cloud solution and adoption advisory business is expanding in the UK. We provide our clients with in-dept analysis of their current solution architectures with specific reference to their Microsoft estates and we are actively looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to assist our clients with evaluating and providing robust cloud strategies, roadmaps and options to support their cloud transformation programmes as well as managing a team of architects and engineers to deliver on same.

This role will work together with our sales team with the objective of driving client cloud modernisation and migration initiatives. You will be client facing and will be accountable for the end-to-end customer cloud deployment experience and presales journey. You will own the technical customer engagement including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or proofs of concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer executives to drive cloud deployment and create/cost client proposals.

The opportunities to develop are significant and appropriate support will be provided, including training.

You'll be someone with :

Technical Skills
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (in
Project Experience
  • 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience in migrating" on premise workloads to the cloud.
Non-technical skills
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts & ensuring follow through
