Located near the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Underley Garden is an Independent Special School and Children’s Home.
We are Specialists in Education, Care and Therapy for young people with autistic spectrum conditions, learning difficulties and mental health needs. The school and home are committed to providing the best Education and Care for young people between the ages of 5-19. We also provide continuing care through our 19-25 service, Underley Adult Care
We now have opportunities for Care Workers to join our team as a bank member. As a Care Worker you will help to provide a secure, happy and supportive environment within the schools residential houses, ensuring they offer an environment that is clean, tidy, warm and inviting.
Working to ensure the physical, emotional and personal care needs of our children and young people are met, you will liaise with colleagues, Parents and other family members and Social Workers to deliver the best Care Plans. Our Care Workers work hard to ensure that the children and young people can carry as much responsibility for their own lives as is reasonable, helping them to live, grow and develop safely and positively.
