Backup Engineer

Contract Role

Hybrid working, 3 days a week onsite, 6 months contract,

Located in the East Midlands (Derby, Nottingham, Leicester)

Paying up to £550 a day

A Leading Consultancy Firm are looking for a Backup Engineer to join on a contract basis

As a Backup Engineer you will be responsible for a High level of understanding in both server hardware & server operating system deployment, configuration, testing & administration as they relate to the deployed storage solutions

This is a brand new role therefore the successful candidate should have the following

  • Experience in Engineering and Supporting Enterprise BUR Solutions
  • Expertise in EMC Networker
  • Familiar with Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Distributed Backups & Enterprise levels of backup platforms
