Working in our Luton hangar you will be part of a team responsible for carrying out all aspects of on aircraft maintenance on all the Boeing aircraft types currently operated by the TUI Group.As a fully approved engineer you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of delivery expected within the organisation. Working under a Zone Leader you will be employed across all maintenance areas and play a key role in maintaining and certifying the TUI fleet.Your extensive knowledge and experience will be fundamental to the effective use of all resources including the control and oversight of mechanics working as part of your team. A flexible approach to shift work is essential for this position.
What you will be doingYou will be experienced in working within a base maintenance environment, delivering all allocated tasks to both the standards expected and within agreed time scales. Working within a small team you will be tasked to deliver maintenance to support both heavy and light maintenance on all Boeing types operated by the TUI Group.To effectively deliver this role you will need to have a flexible approach with an excellent standard of technical competence.
What we are looking for• EASA Part 66 UK Unrestricted B1 Licence• Type approvals on one or more of the following a/c types:- 737NG, 757, 767, 787• Previous experience in a base maintenance certifying role• Self-motivated• Awareness of H&S requirements in an engineering environment• Complies with current human factor requirements• Good communication skills• Experienced in use of MS IT applications• AMOS experience preferable• Compliant with airside security requirements• Full UK driving licence
