A Data Engineer is needed at this established software company in Birmingham as it continues a period of growth and expansion. This is a critical role in ensuring that the business is making the most of their data and turning it into commercial results.
We are looking for someone with data engineering experience in an Azure environment using Agile methodology - but equally important are an attitude for learning and self-development, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Extensive data engineering experience
- Experience with Azure cloud data products such as Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lakes, Azure Storage and Synapse
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server
- Experience in an Agile software environment
- Knowledge of data modelling and ETL
- Some exposure to scripting or programming, especially with Python an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
