We are currently recruiting for one of the UK’s Leading FMCG companies who are looking for an AWS Platform Engineer. It’s an exciting new opportunity to work for a recognised leading company specialising in Retail and Digital E-commerce, they offer an outstanding experience for users by making their services/products easily accessible online, anywhere, anytime and on any device!

What You Can Expect

  • Location - Watford (Hybrid - 2 days on site)
  • Salary - £70,000 - £80,000
  • Work type - Permanent

Main Responsibilities of an AWS Platform Engineer

  • Designing, building, and supporting a brand-new platform running on AWS
  • Driving cloud strategy forward while managing workloads.
  • Ensuring stability, security, and scalability of cloud platforms.
  • Providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working on AWS platforms.
  • AWS Certifications, ideally Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience using Bash or Python.
  • Knowledge of MS Azure.
