A bit about the job:


Working in the Data, Analytics Platforms (DAP) cloud infrastructure team you will provide technical leadership to the cloud designers across Life, GI and other Aviva business areas. This will include actively maintaining a cloud design community by guiding designers through processes and technical issues, encouraging knowledge sharing and strong collaboration culture across cloud infrastructure in different Aviva business areas, as well as encouraging continuous learning. Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and relevant authorities to ensure high quality of cloud design documentation and implementation. This will enable Aviva to transform its performance & support its strategic change agenda.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• You have AWS architectural experience, preferably supported by AWS certifications. However, opportunity to achieve certification will be provided to the right candidate.

• You are a strong communicator with the ability to work across business, IT teams and technical authorities to provide solution options.

• You are skilled in reviewing and writing Cloud High Level Designs, Cloud Low Level Designs.

• You are comfortable in joining and leading technical sign-off meetings.

• Preferably, you have proven experience in integrating various cloud (SaaS and PaaS) solutions as well as on-premises applications.

  • Starting salary between £65,000 - £75,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
