Role Title: AWS Architect

Duration: 6 months

Location: hybrid 2 -3 days a week in Knutsford

Rate: - £519 Umbrella only (inside IR35)

Role purpose / summary

1) Analysis of problem statement, Own the technical solution, provide an end to end assurance that satisfies business needs and ensuring that any developments align to the overall Banks strategy. 2) Analyse applications and underline systems to understand the data flow and business logic.

3) Define architectural software solutions for a portfolio of projects in alignment with architectural standards of client organization

4) Proven background liaising with senior stakeholders to influence their thinking .Stakeholder management at various forums like Domain/project meeting, EA forums where various architects interact and challenge your design (Must)

5) Provide architecture and technology leadership to delivery teams. Be the technology expert to whom that business area trusts to realise their aspirations as to how they can best drive their business forward in helping our customers

6) Risk management and design associated security/controls. (Must)

7) Technical Debt management

8) Experienced in migrating application from Monolithic architecture to domain driven Microservices architecture (must)

9) Low level design knowledge

10) Microservices, SOA, Java Design patterns, EDA, CQRS

11) Hands on experience in any of tools like EA, StarUML, Drawio , JIRA, etc.

12) Understanding of Network diagrams (Good to have)

13) TOGAF or any other Enterprise architect certification (Good to have)

14) AWS Experience (Must have)

15) Process automation (Good to have)

16) Web Services using protocols like Rest API's Standards(must), SOAP, RabbitMQ

17) Good understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns

18) Good understanding of Kafka, Camel, IBM Integration bus (IIB), API management tools (APIGEE, Kong, etc.), Data Power, T24, TSYS, MongoDB

19) Good Understanding of IDAM, OLTP, OLAP.

20) Understanding of SSO concepts

21) Experience with multi-tier (App / Web / DB) server architecture

22) Experience in Financial domain is a must

Key Skills/ requirements

• AWS , Domain and Event driven architect, Stakeholder management (very important), Risk Management , fraud and security standards, Application Enterprise Architecture standards
• Technology knowledge : Java J2EE, API/ Integrations standards, Kafka, Mongodb, IIB, oracle, T24 ,TSYS, Kong, APIGEE, Visio/Drawio , security principles
• Banking domain knowledge
• Good to have skills: AWS , Network & infrastructure , DevOps, IAM, Spring boot, Spring Integration and Camel, JIRA, Confluence , Azure
