The Company
Our client is a friendly, event production company based in Bedford. They design, create and deliver high quality events around the country ranging from product launches, corporate work and awards shows just to name a few.
What will you do
You will be instrumental in the day to day running of their business. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of our client’s goods in and goods out system. You will be the lead in the warehouse and will be responsible for the scheduling of staff whilst also prepping, de-prepping and testing of equipment ensuring that their high standards are followed and adhered to. You must also be flexible to the needs of the business; this will include driving and helping at shows.
About you
Our client is looking for a team player with high standards. You must be flexible, and a strong work ethic is key. You will have previous experience of working in a senior role within a warehouse, with experience within AV as an advantage.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the allocation of jobs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Look ahead and plan for upcoming pinch points.
- Driving where needed.
- Be the lead in the warehouse.
- In charge of weekly testing and inspections (vans & fire alarms etc).
- Be a Health and Safety champion for the business.
- Be the main person responsible for prepping and de-prepping jobs.
- Complete all in-house administration in line with company procedures.
Person Profile:
- Experience working in the AV industry is desirable but not essential.
- Full clean driving licence is essential.
- Show willingness and a keenness to learn.
- Able to demonstrate commitment and ownership to the role as well as commitment to team working.
- Someone who has excellent attention to detail and takes great pride in your work.
