Automation Test Engineer / Developer in Test / West Yorkshire / £45 – 60,000 + Benefits

Overview

My Client is a leading online technology company based in Leeds city centre. Working with clients globally, they have been expanding exponentially over the past year and consequently are seeking a new senior tester to come on board.

Responsibilities

- Background in exploratory testing

- Strong understanding of writing automated test scripts

- To write, maintain and run load tests (Ideally in J-meter)

- An understanding of PageObject pattern

- To have a knowledge of CI and automated checks and to stimulate speed of delivery time as a team.

- To reinforce with fault and root cause analysis.

- To work coinciding with designers, business sponsors and product owners

- Assisting UI automation

Requirements

- 3+ years Testing experience

- Developing automated acceptance tests with Selenium

- Exploratory testing

- Testing web and mobile applications

- Writing and maintaining test scripts (Load)

- Testing Cloud applications

- Strong skills in a programming language (preferably PHP)

Desirable

- Understanding of SQL

- Experience with Git

- Previously worked with API testing

- Previously wrote BDD style tests
