AutoCAD Technician

AutoCAD Technician required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal fabricated products for the construction industry, based in the Hertford area. In support ongoing growth they are seeking an enthusiastic CAD Technician to carry out site surveys and produce designs for projects with the use of AutoCAD 2024 LT.

AutoCAD Technician Position Overview

• Travelling to customer sites to carry out site surveys throughout the UK and occasionally across Europe.
• Producing general arrangement drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Participating in design meetings, both at customer sites and via video platforms.
• Producing designs for installation purposes
• Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers

AutoCAD Technician Position Requirements

• Proficient with AutoCAD 2024 LT
• Based in a commutable distance of Hertford
• 10+ years of experience within the Construction industry, ideally with HVAC, Mechanical or structural sectors
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Revit is desirable
• Full UK Driving License
• Willingness to travel

AutoCAD Technician Position Remuneration

• Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Private Health Insurance, following the qualifying period
• Pension & Death in Service benefit
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
