My client stands as a prominent global network of independent accountancy and business advisory firms, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality services.

The Global Office comprises a team of 35 individuals tasked with managing and coordinating our global network while providing support to our member firms. Within this framework, the Professional Standards team, composed of 9 highly skilled professionals, ensures that our member firms uphold the highest quality standards, thereby maintaining our network's reputation for excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to an audit technical manager, the role encompasses the following responsibilities:

Global Audit Methodology:
Cloud Audit Tool:
Collaborate on the development of the new cloud audit tool, including authoring and field testing.
Ensure compliance with network requirements and provide support for its integration.
Develop and deliver training to member firms, selecting appropriate formats for content delivery.

Desktop Audit Tool:
Assist in maintaining the legacy desktop audit tool, including authoring and testing.
Ensure its ongoing relevance and effectiveness for member firms.
Audit Methodology Maintenance and Development:
Contribute expertise to longer-term improvement projects, enhancing the methodology's sophistication and innovation.
Collaborate with member firms on methodology updates, keeping abreast of auditing standards and best practices.

Training:
Support senior leaders within member firms and collaborate with software providers to identify and address training needs.
Provide ongoing technical support and oversee the development of support materials.
Communications:
Foster positive relationships with audit software providers.
Audit and Assurance Training and Knowledge Sharing:

Training:
Design and implement tailored audit software training for member firms through various mediums.
Provide general audit software support and contribute to expanding the team's software knowledge.
Communications:
Develop and deliver regular updates on audit software for member firms.
Enhance internal communications related to audit software and promote available resources.
Contribute to the network's engagement with technical consultations on audit and assurance standards.

Travel Commitments:
Under normal circumstances, the role entails up to 30% travel, including methodology training, conferences, and relevant meetings.

Person Specification:
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

Demonstrated experience in developing, training, and supporting desktop and cloud-based audit tools.
Willingness to enhance knowledge of International Standards on Auditing.
Proficiency in audit methodology development and maintenance.
Experience in delivering training using diverse tools and media.
Familiarity with international organizational dynamics.
Personal Skills and Attributes:

Proficiency in English at C.2 level.
Strong team player with exceptional relationship-building skills.
Proactive with a solution-oriented approach.
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and training skills.
Commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a supportive team environment.
