Audit Semi Senior

This is an excellent opportunity to join an impressive top 50 UK accountancy practice.

The ideal candidate must have a positive, confident and proactive attitude, with previous audit experience gained in a UK practice.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working, in addition to excellent future career prospects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading a variety of interesting audit assignments across multiple sectors
  • Preparing audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork. As you progress and develop, you will be given more responsibility and start leading smaller audits
  • Ensure audit assignments/sections are completed to a high standard, in time and within budget
  • Preparing corporation tax computations
  • Building long lasting relationships with clients and team members
  • Managing own workload and assisting with training and assisting more junior team members
  • While the role will be predominantly audit focused, there will also be opportunities to be involved in preparing accounts

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA part qualified
  • 1-2 years’ UK Audit practice experience ideal
  • Preference for a University degree 2:1 or higher or minimum 3 A-Level results (A, B, B or above)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel. Xero, Sage, Caseware or CCH would be an advantage
