Known to be the one of the most innovative firms of chartered accountants in the north of England , they specialise in offering a comprehensive range of services catering to businesses, spanning from SME tax planning to large-scale audits for multi-million-pound enterprises.

Key job responsibilities:

• Management of Audits including planning and review of working papers
• Preparation of financial statements and audit work
• Managing a varied portfolio of clients
• Delegating workflow, reviewing work, and providing training to junior staff

The successful Audit Manager will have:

• Extensive experience of accounts, corporation tax and self-assessment gained within practice
• Experience of planning and conducting audits including the review of work produced by junior staff
• Experience in dealing with a varied client portfolio ranging from sole traders to large limited companies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to multi-task
• Team player attitude
• Excellent communication skills

• Salary £45K Negotiable
• 36.25 Hour Week (Flexible)
• 23 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
