Our client extends the opportunity for you to take on the responsibility of delivering services to a diverse portfolio of clients, with turnovers ranging from £60m to £100m across various industries. Joining their team of approximately 60 professionals and five Partners, you will work in an open plan office with a flat structure, harnessing the skills and experiences of all team members to achieve shared goals.

The ideal candidate will:
- Manage audit clients within a turnover range of £1m to £100m.
- Oversee corporate clients outside the audit threshold, handling complex issues and higher levels of ad-hoc work.
- Utilize in-depth client knowledge to anticipate and address challenging and complex issues.
- Directly manage all aspects of provided services, including remuneration planning and corporate group structures.
- Support clients through corporate transactions such as sales, purchases, and fundraising.
- Collaborate closely with the internal tax department, handling tax computations and corporation tax issues.
- Assist Partners and Directors in ad hoc project work, including corporate finance assignments.
- Actively participate in business development activities, managing existing clients, and targeting new audit and non-audit clients.
- Engage in formal and informal pitching procedures.

To thrive in this role, you should be ACA/CA/ACCA qualified, up-to-date in technical knowledge, a confident self-starter, possess strong project management and business development skills, and demonstrate proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent soft skills, encompassing flexibility, team leadership, and empathetic communication, are essential for success in this dynamic environment. If you are someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you will excel in this role.

The right candidate will:
- Cultivate strong relationships across the client portfolio, serving as the trusted adviser on technical and commercial issues.
- Effectively manage, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of qualified, part qualified, and trainees, providing input into recruitment/staffing levels.
- Foster a vibrant working environment where individual talent can thrive within a dynamic team framework, all working towards a common objective.
- Review and appraise internal working practices, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
- Establish a robust network of contacts internally and externally, including bank managers and solicitors.
- Participate in internal compliance procedures, such as quality control reviews and money laundering procedures.
