Auctions Sales Negotiator

Location: Leicester


Work pattern: Full Time - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm - 37.5 hours per week


Salary: £24,500 per annum basic (Plus commission) rising to £25,000 per annum upon completion of probation with OTE around £28,000


Our client is seeking a full time Sales Negotiator with ideally at least 2 years minimum experience. The successful candidate will take a role on existing and new projects while working with the other members of the Auction Team to develop and promote the services offered by our client.

Primary responsibilities include:

This role is to support the Auction Division in all aspects, but not limited to:
• Reporting to the Head of Auctions to achieve auction sales, conveyancing and financial services targets and maintain the businesses position as the area’s leading agent within the marketplace.
• Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries and providing high levels of customer service at all times.
• Pre-qualifying applicants and arranging viewings
• Supporting the Auction team with administrative duties including the carrying out any checks to comply with legislation.
• Negotiating offers on Lots.
• Processing buyers and sellers’ information regarding financial position.
• Booking and arranging viewings and valuations.
• Ensuring a smooth hand over of keys upon completion and ensure all parties always experience the best service, always.
• Managing own workload and emails
• Carrying out viewings if required.
• Managing pre-auction bidder registrations


Key requirements:


• Previous experience in an estate agency or auctioneer role essential
• Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice.
• Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
• Be IT literate with experience of using a web-based case management system.
• Proactive and business minded,
• Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally,
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle,
• Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise own time and workload,
• Ability to work well on their own and as a team,
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages,
• Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work on their own initiative without day-to-day supervision and will need organisational and diary skills to be able to repeat defined activities on a regular basis to communicate with clients and customers.
