Our client is an International Auction House and we are assisting them in their search for a Regional Manager to be responsible for the North West of England, who will join them in their Cheshire location.
This role will be responsible for the North West Region up to the Scottish border.

North West Regional Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of resources (including human, physical, and financial) across the North West Region for the company.
  • Aim to surpass targeted financial outcomes and actively drive revenue beyond agreed budgetary expectations.
  • Exhibit expertise in general or specialist valuation knowledge.
  • Cultivate durable and impactful client relationships through outstanding client management capabilities, contributing to revenue and business acquisition.
  • Guarantee efficient operational procedures within the North West, allocating staff accordingly.
  • Lead the development and execution of regional business acquisition strategies, marketing efforts, and events, ensuring their success.
  • Manage the region's profit and loss account comprehensively.
  • Collaborate with the UK Regional Director in policy development and participate actively in the regional management team.
  • Adhere strictly to policy guidelines within the region.
  • Take charge of Health and Safety protocols within the region.
  • Handle all aspects of employee relations, including recruitment, employment of temporary staff, performance appraisals, and other employment matters, in partnership with the People Team in London.
  • Commit to delivering unparalleled client service throughout the region.


Additional tasks as directed by your Manager may be assigned.

North West Regional Manager Requirements:

  • Capable of analytical and clear thinking, especially under pressure.
  • Experience within an auction house environment with valuation, sale and consigning experience essential
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing and able to travel across the region as needed, with a lease car option available.
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership and team management.
  • Understand fundamental financial principles, including accounting and profit and loss statements.
