We're on the lookout for a dedicated AST Surveyor to join our Liveability Team in Housing Services on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide vital surveying services in various key areas, ensuring full compliance with specifications, procedures, and legislation. Please note, this is an on-site role and not hybrid; you'll be working both in the office and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

?? Surveying Services Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of works and services programs and projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

�? Pre-inspections: Conduct thorough physical pre-inspections of council stock in empty homes and communal locations.

??? Complex Repairs: Skillfully diagnose and address complex repairs for void properties, preventing financial loss through timely completion.

?? Disrepair Claims: Collaborate closely with Disrepair Case Managers, conducting inspections and drafting specifications for new disrepair claims under Section 11.

?? Technical Specifications: Provide precise specifications for intricate repairs, maintaining professional standards.

?? Resident Consultation: Effectively consult with residents, addressing their needs and concerns.

?? Contractor Liaison: Efficiently coordinate with repair contractors, monitoring their performance.

?? Cost-effective Solutions: Devise and propose cost-effective solutions to repair challenges.

?? Quality Checks: Perform thorough quality checks and post-inspections of completed works orders.

??? Safeguarding: Apply "Safeguarding" principles when visiting residents' homes, promptly reporting any concerns about vulnerable residents and children.
